Purpose of the organization: To improve the quality of life
for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) persons living in the Toledo
area. In adhering to the stated purpose, the Domrose Foundation may be involved
in educating the public about homosexuality and other issues of sexuality
in order to foster understanding and acceptance; providing the GLBT community
with information on basic human and civil rights, and resources for guaranteeing
those rights; providing assistance in securing spiritual, legal, medical
and mental health services for persons desiring help for problems arising
out of sexual orientation; and supporting cultural events that benefit the
GLBT community.
The foundation provides funds for Toledo area projects and programs that
are consistent with the purpose of the organization.
